This seminar is a dynamic, integrated, non-partisan program for incoming mayors of large U.S. cities. It is co-hosted every two years by the Institute of Politics and the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
"This is a tremendous opportunity and I am very pleased to have been selected to the seminar," said Mayor Mayans. "The scheduled sessions will be informative and will assist me in my job as a new mayor. Already, it has been great, the input has we have had from the panelists of experienced and new mayors has been invaluable."
Mayor Mayans was personally invited to attend by Dan Glickman, director of the Institute of Politics. The Institute covered the costs of airfare, hotels and meals for the participants.
