Low Airfare Strategy

Goal: Attract 3 quality discount carriers to service Wichita Mid-Continent Airport by raising a total of $15 million ($5 million for each airline) in travel pledges.

Here’s what we need:
A pledge/commitment from your company for each airline representing 3 months (25%) of your annual travel budget to be spent on travel to destinations served by these airlines.

Your pledge will be converted to a line of credit that will be conveniently accessed with a company purchase card(s). As tickets are booked, payments are cleared through the purchase card account. Those funds not used within 12 months will be converted to travel vouchers for future use.

Time is of the essence. Carriers will be committing to new markets in the early part of 2002. We need your commitment now. Simply submit your pledge on corporate letterhead following the sample that follows:
