Our People

Work has begun on the City's 2009-2013 Consolidated Plan.  This plan is required for Wichita to continue to receive direct annual allocations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)programs.  These allocations have funded home repair, new home construction, assistance to first time homebuyers and support for homeless service agencies, based on priorities in the current Consolidated Plan which expires on June 30, 2009.  The 2009-2013 Plan will help City officials and staff determine how to spend the next five years' allocations and we want the citizens of Wichita to give us their opinion as to what the priorities should be.  If you would like to assist, please click on the Priorty Needs Survey link, complete the form, and return it before November 30, 2008.  Thank you in advance for your assistance!
